Introduction

The department was founded in 1989 with the goal of cultivating information engineering technology professionals with equal emphasis on theory and practice, so as to provide excellent information engineering talents and technical personnel in the industry.

The current enrollment system includes: Undergraduate Daytime Department, Undergraduate Training Department, Graduate School Master’s Program, and Digital Learning Master’s Program in Information Technology and Management.

Featured Teaching

  • Innovative Teaching: It was the first nationwide implementation of “Pipeline Cycle Teaching” and won the National Invention Patent No. 1387942; it stimulated students’ learning motivation and improved their programming ability.
  • Featured Program: The course planning progresses step by step, from the shallow to deep. Establish students’ communication skills and thinking abilities with basic and core courses, and cultivate professional skills with professional courses and career courses.

Teaching equipment includes: high-end handheld devices, wireless sensing motion, location, mobile information acquisition system, Mac Book, embedded system, 3D printing printer, car signal simulation testing practice platform, Oracle database system, Unity3D game design software , Kinect, XBOX 360 somatosensory game development system, 3D component modeling system software, 3D VR hood (including VR display host), mobile network streaming teaching practice platform, IOT cloud Internet of Things suite and various teaching software.

Learning space: There are 3 complete multimedia computer teaching classrooms, 1 network attack and defense laboratory, allowing students to practically operate and learn; 6 professional experimental research rooms, providing professional experimental courses, project production and research spaces.
